He discovered photography while working with troubled youths during his civic service. Sailing the Canary Islands - no controlled environments, no predictable scenarios. Just constant movement and fleeting moments. Where he learned to make the best of what's actually there.

You never have perfect conditions on a commercial shoot. Weather shifts. Schedules change. Thomas doesn't fight reality, he uses it. Instinct, honed over decades, turns constraints into creative advantages.


Thomas doesn't separate his commercial work from his artistic practice. The same eye that's been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, and galleries in Paris and Berlin.
